Santa Maria degli Angeli (Saint Maria of the Angels) is a village at the bottom of the hill where is located Assisi, that has the same name as its well known cathedral. This is a particular of the "fontana delle Ventisei Cannelle (Twenty-Six Spouts fountain), on a cathedral’s side, with one of the spout and the water that falls in the underlying marble basin. The basin is decorated with emblems of the Medici family, to who is due the fountain, one of which is clearly visible.
