Egnazia (Fasano) – Ruins on the seafront
Under a cloudy sky, a view of the seafront in the area where are part of the remains of the ancient Egnazia, near Fasano, that was a Messapian town before being a Roman one (and that was already a village in the XVI century BD). One can see an ancient wall, and the traces of excavated rocks, partially covered by the see, that in the photo displays a small breaking wave.
