Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: The Krishna Mandapam is a typical rock-cut temple, that is dedicated to deity Krishna. It is located near the base of the town main hill. Here a view of a small part of the entrance, with a line of three columns that goes through the interior. The base of the one in foreground, as the other (not visible) columns of the entrance, is decorated with a lion. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
