(E&PU) Kanchipuram, 1996: A representation of the deity Vishnu into the the Varadaraja Perumal temple.

Inside the ancient Hindu Varadaraja Perumal temple, in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, that is dedicated to the deity Vishnu: A bas-relief in a wonderful hall of sculpted pillars that represents the deity Vishnu himself, in the form of a tortoise. This is an enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
