Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: A frontal view of the high part (above the entrance, with column at which bases there are sculpted lions) of the Ganesh Ratha temple, that is dedicated to deity Ganesha. This kind of temple is an ancient monolithic structures carved in the shape of chariots. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
