Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: A view of a corner of the beach towards the Indian Ocean, with some rocks, quite a lot of people applying themselves differently, and some cows. Many people are sitting on the rocks, most of them apparently looking at something into the sea, some cows are grazing (there is a couple of calves among them, too), by eating remains of fruits or vegetables on the sand, whereas another one is carried on by a couple of women. There is also a woman with a stand onto the sand, while another one is near to the shore and she is going towards the sea. This is the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
