(E&PU) Kanchipuram, 1996: The towers of the Varadaraja Perumal temple in the evening light.
Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu: A view from outside of the high part of the ancient Varadaraja Perumal temple, that is dedicated to the deity Vishnu, and that is an example of Dravidian architecture, with its different beautiful ancient towers (Gopuram), in the evening light. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
