Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu: The view of a man who is guiding some buffalos to go through a strip of water, in the evening light. In detail, there are five animals that are, more or less, almost completely submerged, apart from the head with the characteristic horns and part of the back. The man is guiding one of them in particular. There are beautiful glares onto the water surface, too, that are due both to the animals themselves and to the vegetation of the shore towards which the group is directed. In fact, the view is quite impressive. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
