(E&PU) Kanchipuram, 1996: One of the different representations of Kamasutra as a bas-relief on a pillar in the Varadaraja Perumal temple (b).

In the ancient Hindu Varadaraja Perumal temple in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, that is dedicated to the deity Vishnu, there are wonderful halls with ancient sculpted pillars. Here the particular of a bas-relief on one of these columns, that is one of the representations of the Kamasutra. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
