(E&PU) Kanchipuram, 1996: A representation of the deity Parvati in the Varadaraja Perumal temple (a).

In the ancient Hindu Varadaraja Perumal temple in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, that is dedicated to the deity Vishnu, there are wonderful halls with sculpted pillars. Here the particular of a bas-relief on one of these columns, that is a representation of the deity Parvati. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
