(E&PU) Egnazia (Fasano): Ruins on the seafront

Fasano: Under a cloudy sky, a view of the seafront in the zone where are located part of the remains of the ancient Egnazia. It was a Messapian town before being a Roman one (and it was already a village in the XVI century BD). One can see an ancient wall (that appears anyway more recent), and the traces of excavated rocks, partially covered by the sea, that in the photo displays a small breaking wave.
