Mahabalipuram, 1996: A view of a part of the ancient Shiva sacred tank (that has been restored in the meantime), with the small steps that surround it and the sacred construction at its interior, in a suggestive atmosphere. The water surface is nearly completely covered by water lily leaves, with some water lily flower that appears here and there. This is the enlargement of part of the scan of a slide taken in July-August, 1996.
